For some reason, the bare trunks of the skinny aspens reminded her of her Grandmother. Namely, the switches Gram made out of wee saplings and kept on hand with threats of taking them to tender backsides in the (highly unlikely) event young children should misbehave. It was clearly another era.

Back from an amazing adventure, I'm now catching up and catching my breath. A warm fall photo felt like just the ticket .
